Bah humbug. Struggling on mustering up some holiday cheer for your B2B?

Holiday marketing seems to go hand in hand with e-Commerce since November and December are big spending months, but there are still ways to market during the holidays even if you aren’t trying to sell candy canes. Give these actionable holiday marketing ideas a try.

1. Use Video

Video is an easy way to spread some holiday cheer – without breaking the bank. Try shooting a simple holiday video to get your team in the spirit. A great example of this in action comes from one of our clients, Dayton Rogers. They used their laser to carve out a special holiday greeting to send out in an email to their clients.

2. Run a Donation Campaign

It’s no secret that people tend to feel more charitable during the holidays. Why not use that to raise money for a worthy cause? Pick a charity or nonprofit your passionate about and call on your customers to raise money. This is also a great way to show off how you give back to the community, while doing some good.

3. Update Your Graphics for the Holidays

This is probably the easiest marketing tip – and often the most overlooked. You can add some instant holiday charm to your business by simply updating your social media icons, banners, email headers, website sliders, etc. with a simple holiday theme. Never underestimate the power of a well-placed cheery snowman.

4. Show Off Your Team

What does your team do to get in the holiday spirit? Take photos of decorations around the office, of employees in cozy sweaters of hot cocoa left in the microwave. Your customers will love seeing a more personal side to your business.

5. Use Holidays to Engage

Just because you aren’t ramping up for a huge sale doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun. Work a few pieces of engaging content into your marketing, like open-ended questions, a quiz, a poll, etc. We love this example from our client MVP Logistics where they asked their fans for some spooktacular names for their new friend:
