Here’s two words you don’t hear very often in the same sentence: Facebook and Privacy. The world’s largest social network makes it incredibly easy to share your life events – but as with anything, too much sharing can be dangerous.
To control how much you share with people on Facebook, click the small Padlock icon in the upper right of your Facebook timeline. From there, review “Who can see my stuff” and “Who can contact me” to limit the people who can see your posts, photos, videos and more. You can easily find out what specific people see when they visit your page by selecting “View as” and change your settings on the fly by post. Of course, remember that anything you share can eventually find its way into the public eye, so always be careful. No personal financial, login, or address info to be safe.
